Since Saturday was supposed to be a rainy day I decided to go on a little adventure. Last spring I bought plants at a local greenhouse and I was really disappointed with the selection. I decided then that even though I like to support local business I was going to branch out this year and check out a few other greenhouses.
I left home late Saturday morning and drove to a town about 45 miles away. I visited a large greenhouse and had so much fun looking at the large variety of plants. I bought several plants and then went to a coffeehouse for lunch. Then I headed towards home, stopping at several greenhouses along the way. By then I had lots of annual plants, one perennial (baby's breath), a tomato plant and a basil plant.
I stopped at home to unload all of my plants and then headed to a local Target to buy some planters and accessories.
It rained on and off all day, which made it a perfect day to spend time in greenhouses, listening to rain drops hitting the roof. And thats my story.
