After years of using labels to put my shop information on the back of cards and other craft projects I finally decided to buy a stamp with my shop name and blog address. When I first started my Etsy shop I didn't want to invest in a stamp so I purchased clear labels and printed my shop information on the labels. That worked find, but the last time I ran out of labels I decided it was time to invest in a stamp.
I visited different stamp shops online before deciding on Vistaprint. They were running a special on self-inking stamps, either predesigned stamps or design-your-own stamps. I opted to design my own stamp and the process was very easy.
I decided to put my shop name on the top line and I included the phoentic spelling so that people could understand how to pronounce the name of my shop. On the second line I included my blog address, and I added a large "g" on the left side. My only complaint about the stamp is that the print is pretty small (it's enlarged in this image). I wish that I would have selected the next size of stamp so that it would be easier to read.
The stamp was less than $15 making me wonder why I didn't purchase it a long time ago. I like the fact that it's self-inking so I can stamp one item quickly or line up a whole bunch of hand made cards and stamp them all at once.
I may go ahead and purchase a larger stamp in the future, but for now this works well.
