I mentioned in this post that at a recent scrapbooking weekend we did a number of craft "make and takes". Here's a look at another one of those projects - a paper pumpkin.
To make this pumpkin we used paper circles cut from scrapbooking paper. You can change the size of the circles based on the size of the finished pumpkin you are making.
Once you have all of the circles cut you fold them in half and then adhere them, back to back, until you have a nice, round pumpkin. The paper we used was double sided and we alternated each piece for contrast.
To make the stem we used one long strip of cardstock and just rolled it around a pencil to get the desired look. Then we used a thin strip of paper to wrap around the stem. You could also use ribbon or rafia. We glued the stem to the top of the pumpkin and just like that we had adorable fall decor!
One more project to share in the coming days, plus one that I'll share after Christmas because it is a gift!
