It's hard to believe that July is over, but according to the calendar it is. This summer is flying by! Today I'll share the four digital pages I created as a member of the Creative Team for JessicaSprague.com.
The first page was created using a really cute kit by Lori Whitlock called Summer Days. There were so many fun papers and elements that it was hard to choose - I wanted to use them all! I knew I wanted to use this photo of the pool that I took in June when I went to Florida because it was a perfect summer photo. I kept the photo very large so that it was the focal point and then I chose a few elements that worked well as accents.
For the second page I used a new set of paper and embellishments from Lori Whitlock called Happy Day. For this page I ended up using a really little photo because I thought it was super cute! I thought the paper and elements were cute enough that I could use them for the majority of the page rather than using a larger photo.
The third page is probably my favorite for the month. I used paper and embellishments from Designs by Dani called County Fair. The best this about this set is that it's so versatile - clearly my page had nothing to do with the fair, but there were so many fun elements to chose from that it worked for this cute photo of two little ones at a birthday party.
Remember when I said that summer is flying by? My fourth page is all about fall using cute paper and embellishments called Autumn Afternoon, again by Lori Whitlock. I had a few fall photos from the arboretum last fall and they worked perfectly with this set. For this page I used a round circle template by Carina Gardner. I really like using templates because they are so easy! All I had to do was chose a couple of photos and some coordinating papers from the set and decide where I wanted them in the circle.
I'm learning so much about Photoshop Elements by doing these digital layouts. I'm getting used to working with the layers which is a HUGE part of understanding the program.
If you want to learn how to use Photoshop or Photoshop Elements I would encourage you to check out JessicaSprague.com. There are so many classes and they are easy to understand.
