I've had the same vacuum cleaner for several years and it has been a long time since I have felt like it has lived up to it's end of the deal, which is to actually suck up dirt from my carpet. I do my part - pulling it out of the closet, unwrapping the cord, and pushing it all over my house. I don't think I'm expecting too much to want to see some improvement when I'm done. However, that has not been the case in a good long time.
About a week ago I was really frustrated and decided it was time to take action. I haven't had the best luck with vacuum cleaners in the past aside from my shop vac, which takes it's job very seriously. So although I was ready to get a new vacuum I really didn't know what kind to buy. I turned to Amazon.com to get some advice, which I do often. I like to read the reviews from people that have purchased items and get some good, honest feedback. One vacuum that seemed to have favorable reviews and be moderately priced ($99) was this Hoover Wind-tunnel.
I had a $100 Amazon gift card (from my Visa cash back points) so I went ahead and ordered the vacuum and it arrived today. I put it together (easy) plugged it in and WA LA! It worked well and did a great job! It came with some hand tools which I haven't tried yet but so far I'm very happy with my new, cute vacuum.
Yep, it's the little things.
